Job Description of Lake House Job Vacancies
The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), also known as Lake House, is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to fill the position of Fire Officer. As the leading print media organization in Sri Lanka, Lake House is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its employees and operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- G.C.E. (A/L) Examination: The candidate should have successfully passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination, demonstrating a satisfactory educational background.
- Basic Firefighting Curriculum: The candidate should have completed the basic Firefighting curriculum of the Municipal Fire Service Department, acquiring the necessary firefighting skills and knowledge..
- Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of firefighting and fire prevention in a reputable organization. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role related to firefighting will be considered.
- Industrial Security Management: Experience in the field of industrial security management is desirable and will be considered an added advantage.
- Language Skills: The candidate must possess the ability to work effectively in the English language, both written and verbal.
- Instructor Skills: The candidate should have the ability to effectively deliver training sessions and act as an instructor, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
Remuneration of Fire Officer:
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate, commensurate with their experience and individual skills.
