Job Roll : Field Recovery Officers

Field Recovery Officers are responsible for recovering overdue payments from customers who have defaulted on their loans or credit card payments. They work for banks, financial institutions, and other lending agencies, and their primary role is to visit defaulters and negotiate payment repayment terms with them.

• Locating defaulters: Field Recovery Officers use various methods to locate the defaulters, such as visiting their homes or workplaces, contacting their friends and family members, and using various databases.
• Contacting defaulters: Once they have located the defaulters, Field Recovery Officers contact them and try to negotiate a repayment plan. They explain the consequences of non-payment and try to persuade the defaulters to pay their dues.
• Recovering payments: Field Recovery Officers use various methods to recover payments, such as negotiating a settlement plan, offering restructuring of the loan, or seizing collateral.
• Maintaining records: They maintain detailed records of the visits, negotiations, and agreements made with the defaulters.
• Reporting: Field Recovery Officers report to their superiors on the progress of their recovery efforts and any issues they encounter during their visits.
